Last night we attended a concert in a church. The Llanddulas Male Voice Choir performed and it was a treat. The couple sitting next to us live near London and we had a wide ranging conversation with them. They are traveling in a caravan which is the English word for trailer home ,
The choir has had only 2 directors in 61 years and some of the members have been with it from the beginning. In spite of age they sang with spirit and gusto.
They sing to raise money for causes.- like a ne roof for a church. They will come and give a concert when asked. Their repertoire is made up of show tunes from Les Mis, Oliver, old standards, and Welsh songs from Rugby songs to national.
The woman at the harp is their conductor. , Eirlys Dwyryd
