In the morning we visited the Drumholm Graveyard where I had had learned from our talk with the Rector of the local Church of Ireland my ancesters had been buried.

This is where the small boats carried passengers out to the ships during the great potato famine, a
period of mass starvation, disease, and emigration between 1845 and 1852
While waiting to get on a ship, many died here and the famine burial ground is behind this house

| If you follow the channel out to the Atlantic and go straight across you will come to Canada where many emigrated to. |
