Saturday afternoon we saw "Dancing at Lughnasa"at the Lyric theatre in Belfast. It takes place in Donegal in the early 1930's and is the story of a man's remembrance of being raised by his mother (who had him "out of wedlock") and his 4 single aunts. It also included the priest in the family who returned from Uganda a bit off center and practicing some of the native rituals rather than saying Mass.
Well acted. Timely for the immigrant crisis. Nice theatre with a cafe and outdoor area to relax by the River Lagan during intermission and before the show.
